Yes. Apparently heard on the grapevine and not confirmed - People/hunters/shooters, are being paid to shoot foxes and badgers on and near Reed Court Farm, and being paid £50 per head, to remove the predators of chickens. Are the Roe Deer that live in the ancient forest safe?...

Pullens Farm Egg Production Facility in Horsmonden was going to be created with just 64000 chickens! Wealden Woods at Reed Court Farm, Chainhurst is planned to house192000 chickens - really? Horsmonden residents were OUTRAGED at the plans for the project at Pullens Farm. What are we going to do about a project 3 TIMES THE SIZE here in Chainhurst??? We need to act: You need to comment. We need to let Fridays Ltd. know that this is not a walkover. We need to fight against this proposal by Fridays Ltd. Do you want this to ruin Chainhurst? Do you want this to ruin the countryside of Reed Court Farm? Look at the gallery, it won't stay that way! https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-kent-33049299

I was walking my two dogs this morning and spotted deer on the edge of the ancient woodland. They obviously live on Reed Court Farm in the ancient woodland and the other woodland close to it. My dogs spooked them as you can see. From kentwildlifetrust.org.uk Conservation status: Protected in the UK under the Deer Act 1991.
