Does any body now the latest on the installation of the fiber optics cables connections, they put all the cables in last summery in Dairy Lane (up on the poles) and we have not heard anything yet on the switch on date. Marden is all connected now, but heard our connection was coming from Hunton Hill, if anybody has any news.

All you see when you drive past is say YES, you need to put the signs on private land and then remove all other signage, stop being so soft it needs to have bigger impact. remember the yellow banners from the Marden House building, remember Fridays have millions to through at this so a couple of signs are nothing in the larger scheme of things.

Why have all the Hop Huts been dismantled/roofs removed and a mobile home installed behind the Huts, I would have thought the huts would have been a listed structure and been protected. They form part of out history and should be protected, It does seem to be coincidental that the house/building has a fire, the hop huts get dismantled, and mobile home gets installed and then we hear about the planning application. I've seen lots of building sites across Kent start off with a mobile home, then applications for lots of different schemes (lots of houses), when these get turned downed all of sudden lots more mobile homes arrive. Along with lots of problems with this.

Why have we not been getting any assistance from the Marden Parish Council, I bought this to their attention over a year ago and requested this be discussed at the parish meetings and to be informed of any developments, I was told they would start a file and keep me update but yet I get a more information from the developer and local neighbors through my letter box. This land has been bought for one reason, to develop into money, if they do not get planning for the chicken farm they will try for housing and keep trying until it pays off. Since they bought the land we have seen security across the land increased and access denied, friends have been verbally abused by the owners and intimidated when out for a walk across fields that have been accessible forever, We have seen fires and building destroyed, that now enable access to land that would normally have been protected, with mobile caravans located now on site. We only assume to assist with planning, to prove someone is living on the land. over teh years I have seen various tactics used this being one of them to enable housing or development of land that would normally be protected, this is not a Brown Field site. We need the community to support the rejection of all developments and a protection order on the land to stop any future building works. These are green fields not a development opportunity
